Price is for 1 lb lot of rough slabs, between 1 and 6 slabs per lot. Slabs vary from 3" - 10" long, and are between 4mm - 8mm thick. Shapes, sizes, and colors will vary between each slab. Images show the slabs wet, and dry, and examples of polished pieces and finished cabochons.
Red Velvet Agate comes from northern Mexico and typically shows translucent to white agate streaked with bright shades of red - like streaks of red velvet cake in white icing. It forms in veins and could also be called a jasp-agate as it combines translucent and opaque chalcedony. It can have feathery bands, brecciated patterning and moss agate, all in red hues from orange to 'fleshy' pinks or deep reds, or some golden yellows.
