These Obsidian slabs are natural obsidian in primarily solid black coloring, but can have slight color variations or patterns, mostly leaning towards Mahogany Obsidian with streaks and patterns of reddish brown, or occasionally have effects like "Rainbow Obsidian" or "Midnight Lace Obsidian." 

Price is for 1 lb lot. Shapes, sizes, and colors will vary between each slab. Most slabs are rather small, between 1" - 3" long, 5mm - 8mm thick. Images show slabs wet and dry, with pattern variation examples.

Rough slabs are used primarily for making cabochons, and are cut/prepared for this purpose. Because of this, it is possible to receive slabs that are partially broken or have old price markings, as they are intended to be processed further.
